Brief description of site
Alltyrodyn has surviving ornamental pleasure grounds dating from around 1830-40. The gardens are on a grand scale and are contemporary with the house. There is also a rare bath house and large, well-preserved kitchen garden. The kitchen garden includes a flower garden compartment and orangery. The wooded grounds contain mature trees and look out over an attractive, unspoilt rural valley.
