Brief description of site

Allerton Park has a landscape park which is associated with a country house. Other features include terraced gardens and a kitchen garden.

Brief history of site

A new house was built and the park was enlarged during the 1720s. It was reworked further during the 1770s. The terraced gardens date from the mid-19th century.
