Brief description of site
Carshalton House has the remains of an early 18th century landscape park. The site is enclosed by high walls (Listed Grade II), of red brick with red brick or rendered plinths.
Brief history of site
Carshalton House was built in the late 17th century for Edward Carlton. The garden was created for Sir John Fellowes between 1718 and 1721, possibly by Charles Bridgeman.
