Brief description of site

Buscot Park is a landscape park with formal gardens covering around 40 hectares, including an early 20th-century Italianate water garden and walled kitchen gardens.

Brief history of site

Buscot Manor was bought by Walter Loveden from the Stonor family in 1557. The main park was laid out around 1779-83, probably by Edward Loveden Townsend. The formal water gardens were laid out between 1904 and 1913 by Harold Peto.
