Brief description of site

Brockhall Park is a landscape park, which in its present form dates from about 1800.

Brief history of site

A hall was re-built on the site in 1607. Extensive formal gardens were laid out in the 1720s and 1730s. Alterations were made to the hall in the 1740s. The park was laid out around 1800, possibly with the advice of John Webb, to replace the formal gardens created in the 1720s.
