Brief description of site
A landscape park of the late 18th century. In the early 19th century the site was occupied by the horticulturist Thomas Andrew Knight, who bred numerous fruit tree cultivars here.
Brief history of site
The house was remodelled in the 1760s around a half-timbered core. The landscape park was created in the late 18th and early 19th century. Thomas Andrew Knight lived here and bred fruit between 1791 and 1808.
