Brief description of site
Boconnoc has about 10 hectares of ornamental gardens set within a landscaped deer park of approximately 340 hectares. Features include veteran trees, a pinetum, and camellias and azaleas dating from about 1850. Although not open to the public in the general sense, there are open days in the spring. Originating in the medieval period, Boconnoc has a 17th century deer park which was landscaped in the 18th and 19th centuries.
