Brief description of site
The Italian garden is a relict garden. The only surviving features are the garden gates.
Brief history of site
The Fourth Duchess of Northumberland created the garden with the help of Anthony Salvin between 1865 and 1911. The fountain was removed after the sale of the estate in 1922.
