Lower Gatton Park is a park and pleasure grounds forming the setting for a country house.
Brief history of site
The site was already in existence by 1751. There were improvements in the 1760-70s by Lancelot Brown. The gardens were remodelled in the late-19th century by HE Milner, and elaborated during the early-20th century.
