Brief description of site
Little Sodbury Manor is a garden on a 15th-century site. There are a number of gardens, including a formal garden and a sunken garden. There are also ponds, a kitchen garden, bowling green and many mature trees.
Brief history of site
The first known house on the site was built in the 1420s for the Stanshaw family. Their Great Hall is still part of the present house. Sir Harold Brakspear worked on the restoration of the house and gardens in the early-20th century.
