Brief description of site

Linton Park is an 18th-century landscape park which covered 180 hectares at its most extensive, including extensive woodland. There was formal development in the 19th century. The estate is now in divided use and ownership. The main parkland and gardens around the house of 40 hectares are now the site of a corporate head office.

Brief history of site

The mansion was built in 1730 for Robert Mann. The park was largely created between 1801 and 1819.
