Brief history of site
Kinfauns Castle was designed by Robert Smirke and built between 1822 and 1826. The policies were improved in the 1820s and the arboretum established in the mid-19th century. Kinfauns Castle was a hotel for a period in the late-20th century but has been in private ownership since 2004.
