James Wright Sanderson - Summary

Narrative:

James Wright Sanderson was an architect active, especially in Reading, England, in the late-18th and early-19th centuries. He was a pupil of James Wyatt and entered the Royal Academy Schools in London in 1789 where he won the Silver Medal in 1790.

Sanderson exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1790 and 1791 and over the course of his career designed several cottages, lodges and houses in Berkshire. He died in Reading in 1813.
