John Michael Rysbrack was a sculptor active in the 18th century. He is particularly noted for his statues, busts, reliefs, chimney-pieces and monuments as well as for his garden ornaments, the most famous of which is perhaps that of Hercules (begun 1747) in the Pantheon at Stourhead Gardens in Wiltshire, England.
