Description / history
The Royal Horticultural Society is the United Kingdom's leading gardening charity dedicated to advancing horticulture and promoting good gardening.
It was founded in 1804, originally under the name The Horticultural Society of London, by Sir Joseph Banks and John Wedgwood. It was renamed The Royal Horticultural Society in 1861.
