Herbaceous planting in the Terrace Garden at Castle Drogo, near Exeter, Devon. The sinuous winding paths were designed by Edward Lutyens following an Indian motif, the textured plantings were designed by George Dillistone. The whole garden is enclosed by clipped yew hedging.
